Weeks ago I was walking in Giant, Kelana Jaya and saw this small shop (actually its a stall) selling remote control cars. I have always love playing remote control (RC) cars since my younger days but I never really had the opportunity since it was pretty expensive back then. While I was browsing what they were selling, which mostly are cars, planes and helicopters, I noticed they were selling this Huan Qi 1:10 remote control cars for a reasonable price (depending on how your bargain of course). The opening price is RM350.

After thinking a while (a very short while actually), I decided to get one for myself. It’s so much cheaper compared to getting those high end HPI or HSP remote control cars. This works equally well and the best part, you can upgrade using HPI or HSP products.

The Huan Qi is actually a replica of the HPI E10. I think the first thing I want to upgrade are the batteries. Maybe get a good and longer lasting battery. Maybe an EP Ni-MH 4600mAh ?? Hehehe …

BTW, they have the nitro version which is slightly more expensive, maybe additional RM150 ? Hehehe ..

Bought this today from Guardian Pharmacy. It was on discount for only RM109 (original price is about RM140).

Many people would ask what a “pedometer” is and here is the answer – A pedometer is a step counter (sometimes known as a step counter too). It is a device that you strap on your belt (waist level) to count the number of steps you have taken. According to scientist, if you can walk 10,000 steps in a day, it would be healthy to your body and at the same time lose weight. 10,000 steps is equivalent to 5 miles (8km).

Pedometers can be very cheap and some models can very costly too. At Guardian Pharmacy you can get the Omron Pedometer HJ-113 model for about RM140 and the Guardian house brand for RM39. Both can do the same thing but I personally think the Omron model is more accurate since Omron produces very good medical equipments.

Hmm, can I hit 10,000 steps in a day ? I doubt it but I want to see how much I actually walk in a day. I can be very lazy most of the time.

After over a year having two bikes kept inside the house, it’s time to figure out how to organize the bicycles at home neatly. I finally decided to get those bike stand that you see in the bike shops. It took me a while to search for it but I finally I found it from my local bike shop that I frequent. Actually it was a special order.

Check it out .. looks cool huh ?!

For a pretty good price (comparing to purchase brands like Topeak or Park Tool), this bike stand helps in organizing both my bikes at home making it look neater. I also have more space now (meaning I can buy more bikes ?).

The maximum weight should be around 70kg for one stand, so basically you can organize up to 4 bikes (depending on what type of bikes of course). There are other options too but I think this way it looks more professional.

Me and my family had a great time with friends in Betong, Thailand. Everything was relatively cheap and the food was fantastic. Can you imagine the accommodation rate was less then RM50 per room per night ?? You can’t expect a 5-star standard but at least it’s cheap, clean and comfortable.

The main objective was to just rest and relax and we all just did that. For lunch and dinner we had so much food and it was locally cook by a native there and the food was superb !! Everything is fresh and tasty.

I guess maybe next year I will travel to Betong again. Hehehe !! This time I might just bring my bike along and try to do some biking there. However, the weather lately has not been that good. The hot weather is now becoming hotter and the rainy season is having unusually more rain that usual.

Ooopss, sorry no pictures taken ..
